Friday 17 April 2015

The C5 Alliance Group, a provider of technology solutions in the Channel Islands, has appointed David Gardiner to the Jersey team as Head of Business Development.

Mr Gardiner has over 30 years experience in the IT industry, including growing CRS Computers from start-up to £10m between 1991-1999 in his role as Business Development Director. He was founder of specialist consultancy Knowledge Architecture in 1999, and worked as senior executive of a number of Microsoft business partners to develop holistic solutions for the growing demands of clients.

Mr Gardiner completed his Microsoft Cloud (Azure) P-SSP accreditation in 2014 and in the last 3 years has been responsible for securing project wins with ICAP, British Transport Police and Macmillan Cancer Support among others.

In his new role, Mr Gardiner will be responsible for understanding clients’ underlying business and technology needs, driving forward business development and advising on the application of new products and services to meet client needs. He will be an integral part of the C5 Group senior management team, reporting into the Group Board and helping to further grow and consolidate C5’s offering to existing and future clients, as the company continues to expand.

Rob Leader, Group Managing Director, said: “We’re delighted to have David onboard and we look forward to working alongside him as he implements his talent, knowledge and experience. C5 continues to grow and develop and we need talent such as David’s to meet the demands of this journey.”

David Gardiner said: “I’m looking forward to this new opportunity with C5, both as an exciting step in my career and the possibility to participate in a dynamic and innovative workforce at the forefront of the Channel Islands’ digital industry.”
