Equiom have appointed three new members of staff to their Jersey team.

The trust and corporate services provider has hired Harry Lawson, Laura Brown and Vallance Wilkinson, all in senior positions.

Mr Lawson has been appointed Senior Tax Consultant. The firm says he is an experienced tax professional specialising in UK and Jersey jurisdictions.

Mr Lawson said: "I am looking forward to joining Equiom during this exciting growth period. Over the 30 years spent as a tax professional I have witnessed at first hand the increasing complexity and globalisation of tax legislation as it has evolved across jurisdictions. I am looking forward to applying my experience to new challenges and to ensuring that Equiom’s clients are given the best tax advice that fits in with their needs."

Ms Brown has been appointed as Senior Manager of Client Services and Mr Wilkinson as Senior Manager of Business Development.

Ms Brown has over a decade of experience in the trust and private client industry. Her new role will involve managing relationships with clients while providing expert trust and corporate services.

Vallance Wilkinson has been working in the banking industry for over 22 years and is currently studying towards a Chartered Financial Planner Level Six qualification. He will be working together with the business development team at Equiom to help grow the international client base.

Speaking about the new recruits, Nicola Gott, Managing Director of Equiom Jersey said: “As we experience a period of sustained growth at Equiom, recruiting local talent remains at the heart of what we do. Our focus remains on building a team of local professionals and fostering organic growth.”

“I am very pleased to welcome Harry, Laura and Vallance to the team. The breadth of their experience and knowledge in the sector will add a new dimension to the services we offer to clients and they will make a wonderful addition to our existing team.”
