Intertrust promotes five to associate director roles

Tuesday 23 May 2017

Intertrust has promoted Laura Butler, Will Jardine, Frances Allain, Sherin Sugeeswaran and Ellen Chislett to associate directors.

The firm says the promotions will strengthen its 500-strong team based in the Channel Islands.

Simon Mackenzie, Managing Director of Intertrust, said: “It’s fantastic to strengthen our team with five new associate directors across our service lines. Laura, Will, Frances, Sherin and Ellen have frequently demonstrated their expertise and dedication to Intertrust and have consistently delivered the high quality client service that we pride ourselves on; these promotions are well deserved.

“Associate directors assume a level of responsibility for developing their service lines and need to balance this with managing existing client relationships; we’re confident that they will take this in their stride and contribute even further to strengthening our company.”

Both Ms Butler and Mr Jardine work within the Performance & Reward Management team.

Ms Butler has 17 years’ experience working in the share plan industry and her team provides trustee and plan administration services to a range of share plans.

Mr Jardine’s deferred compensation team specialises in providing trustee and administration services to bonus deferral plans, carried interest schemes and bespoke employee incentive arrangements.

An Associate of ICSA, Ms Allain works in the corporate services team, providing onshore and offshore director, corporate administration, bookkeeping and accounting services to multi-jurisdictional structures.

In her new role within the fund services team, Ms Sugeeswaran will be responsible for the management of her team as well as client relationship management which includes complex fund valuations, the set-up of new funds, accounting issues and carried interest modelling.

As a Manager at Intertrust for the previous 8 years, Mrs Chislett has managed a team of administrators dealing with a variety of capital market structures in Jersey, Luxembourg, Ireland and the Cayman Islands. As Associate Director within the capital markets team, she will assume additional responsibilities including business development and financial reporting.
