To mark the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War and to help ensure this anniversary is never forgotten, the JCG Foundation has planted a remembrance field of poppies in the school grounds.

The JCG Foundation Poppy Bank is the first initiative between the Foundation and its corporate partner Brewin Dolphin who sponsored the planting.

JCG Foundation director  Leanda Guy, said: "We were thrilled when the Brewin Dolphin team agreed to support the JCG Foundation Poppy Bank which is located on the astro turf site within the JCG campus. We are delighted to welcome Brewin Dolphin as a Foundation Corporate Partner to help support our many programmes benefitting both JCG and other Island students."

Stuart Sangan of Brewin Dolphin said they were very pleased to become a JCG Foundation corporate partner.

"The JCG Foundation Brewin Dolphin Poppy Bank was a delightful project and we look forward to building our relationship going forward as the Foundation continues to support both JCG and students from other schools through its various programmes," he said.
