Le Masurier has spent £4.6m on buying a modern purpose-built industrial and office headquarters on the Chandler's Ford Industrial Estate on the outskirts of Southampton.

Brian McCarthy, Le Masurier's Managing Director said: "This is a tremendous addition to our ever growing UK property portfolio and takes our investment in the UK to over £20m since March.

"I am pleased that we are successfully pursuing our strategy for growth despite volatile economic conditions."

The 50,000 sq foot building is strategically located close to both the M3 and M27.

The current occupant, GEA Process Engineering has occupied the property for a number of years and is currently paying a rental of £360,000 a year. GEA is one of the world's leading manufacturers of processing systems for granulation, coating and drying pharmaceutical products.
