Jersey law firm, Benest Corbett Renouf, has appointed a new advocate to its litigation team.

Advocate Adam Harrison, who qualified as a Jersey solicitor in 2010 and was called as an Advocate in 2013, is said to be a highly experienced criminal law litigator with extensive expertise in courtroom advocacy.

This most recent hire brings the total number of Jersey-qualified lawyers at the firm to eleven.

Advocate Harrison will provide specialist advice in all aspects of criminal law, including to local industry professionals facing regulatory prosecutions, such as those brought under health and safety legislation.

Advocate David Benest, Managing Partner of Benest Corbett Renouf, said: “We’re absolutely delighted that Adam has joined the firm.  His knowledge and experience in criminal law is exceptional and that, coupled to his wealth of advocacy experience before the Jersey courts, adds to the strength and depth of our excellent litigation team.

“Adam’s arrival enhances our ability as a firm to service all of our clients’ diverse legal needs.  We wish Adam a long and happy career with the firm.”
