Smith & Williamson continue to grow their existing tax advisory business by hiring Chris Bulleyment as Partner.

Mr Bulleyment, formerly of PwC and KPMG, will be responsible for providing tax advice on UK and International Pension Schemes.

He originally trained as a barrister and was called to the Bar in 1998 and is also a Chartered Tax Advisor and a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians.

Mr Bulleyment said: “I am delighted to join Smith & Williamson and I look forward to this next stage in my career. Smith & Williamson is an organisation of real scale and substance that aims to give professionals like me the flexibility to put my client first.”

Andrew Shaw, of Smith & Williamson, has been leading the growth of in the existing tax advisory business in Jersey that Mr Bulleyment will be joining.

Mr Shaw said: “We are thrilled that someone of Chris’ calibre and expertise has chosen to join us, especially given the demand for his knowledge from private clients, corporates and intermediaries in this market environment.”
