Upgrade for Royal Yacht penthouse suites

Wednesday 30 September 2015

The Royal Yacht has updated its Mooncatcher and Stargazer penthouse suites with a modern beach inspired theme.

The deluxe suites now closely follow The Royal Yacht’s nautical design, featuring a new colour palette of soft creams, beiges and blues to reflect the natural colours of the surrounding seaside landscape.

To further invoke the seaside ambience, the suites also include a luxurious custom designed carpet that simulates drifting sand patterns, a driftwood floor, a large wall mounted television, which is hidden behind yacht inspired sliding door panels and relaxing LED ceiling lights.

The penthouse suites have also upgraded the balcony areas, with new loungers and an illuminated green plant wall, which sit alongside a private hot tub.

Alcino Vieira, General Manager of The Royal Yacht, said: “We are delighted with the beach inspired design of our penthouse suites. The new design replaces the suites’ previous darker colour scheme and offers a fresh take on our luxury hotel experience while reflecting our beachside location.

"The fresh design builds on the atmosphere of comfort and relaxation, complementing the features of the suites that we have retained, including the hot tubs and sophisticated lighting. We are confident that our guests will appreciate the attention to detail and lavish creature comforts of the upgraded suites.”
