Trading on Sundays on the 26 November and 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 December 2017.
The Minister for Economic Development has by Order designated Sundays 26 November and 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 December 2017 as special occasions (see the Shops (Regulation of Opening) (Special Occasions) (Jersey) Order 2015). This notice is to advise that the Connétable of each parish has issued a blanket permit for certain shops situated in that Parish to open as specified below.
It is a condition of a blanket permit that where a shop is one that is open on weekdays as well as on a Sunday, the commercial activities that are carried on at the shop pursuant to the permit shall be substantially the same as those carried on at the shop on weekdays.
Additional conditions may also be imposed and are set out below.
Subject to the condition shown above all shops may open on any of the six Sundays.
