John Advocate Langlois has retired from the Board of Insurance Corporation Of The Channel Islands (ICCI) after 30 years of service. Mr Langlois joined the Board in 1986 when the corporation became a subsidiary of the Royal Insurance Group, a company for which he was already a director.

Advocate Langlois says he is delighted to have had such a long and fruitful association with ICCI through a sustained period of growth:

“It has been a privilege for me to serve on the ICCI board, during which time ICCI has become the insurer of choice for so many householders, motorists and businesses in the Channel Islands. I have no doubt that its success will continue”.

Advocate Langlois’s successor is Advocate Sarah Brehaut who brings her extensive experience in all aspects of the law to ICCI. Ms Brehaut is a partner at AO Hall in the Insolvency & Dispute Resolution Group and has previously specialised in private client work involving family, civil and criminal representation.

Advocate Brehaut says: “I am delighted to have been offered this role at ICCI and look forward to working with their excellent team in the New Year”.

ICCI Chairman, Paul Masterton says: ‘We would like to thank John for 30 years of exemplary service to ICCI and for all the knowledge and wisdom he has shared with us. Sarah joins the company at an exciting time and I am delighted to welcome her to the Board.  Sarah's experience and strength will be a great asset to The Insurance Corporation both around the board table and for the management team.’
