The results are in for the 2017 Durrell Challenge

Monday 15 May 2017

Over 500 people 'did it for Durrell' yesterday as people came from across the world to take part in the Durrell Challenge.

Durrell have said they were "delighted" to see so many people turn up to run alongside Superman at the second annual Durrell Challenge.

Over 500 entrants from 17 different countries, including 30 VIP runners who pledged to raise least £1000 for Durrell, took part in the 13K race from Victoria Park to the Jersey Zoo.

The first man across the line was James Faudemer in a time of 47:59 and the winning woman was Rebecca Thompson in a time of 54:10.

Full race results can be found here.

Following the race, there was a Super Hero Stroll taking younger visitors on a 1km interactive loop around the Zoo and then the popular Family Fun Day.
