The route will be their seventh from Jersey, making them the biggest operator to fly to and from the Island. In the summer, passengers will be able to reach Jersey from around 50 airports around Europe.
Flights start from 27 March, and will be on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The announcement has been welcomed by the head of the newly-incorporated Ports of Jersey, Doug Bannister.
He said: “This is fantastic news and a clear example of easyJet’s continuing commitment to serving our Island.
“We have enjoyed an excellent relationship with the airline for a number of years now, demonstrated by the introduction of new air services and increasing capacity on others, which has been of great benefit to both inbound and outbound travel options.”
And Economic Development Minister Lyndon Farnham agreed that the new flight was a welcome development.
He said: “The addition of another service to a London airport is great news for both business and leisure travellers and I am delighted by the commitment that EasyJet’s new Luton service shows to Jersey routes.
“It is evidence of the appetite that exists for travel to and from the Island and can only be welcome news for the tourism industry.”
