Run4Men returns on Sunday 10th September 2017 in memory of Justin Cotillard.
Justin tragically passed away when he was just 30 years old due to an aggressive form of brain cancer just months after marrying his wife Emma and becoming dad to their baby daughter Mia. Run4Men is one of the few events dedicated to raising awareness of cancer in males. Many people don’t realise that men are more at risk of nearly all the common cancers that affect both sexes.
Emma Cotillard hopes that this year’s Run4Men will be a poignant opportunity for everyone to come together in memory of Justin and all those whose lives have been lost to cancer, as well as helping to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK that will help beat the deadly disease.
Although this event focusses on cancer in males, BOTH MEN AND WOMEN are invited to take part.
There is a choice of two distances; 5km and 10km to suit all abilities.
The registration fee is £25 for Adults and £10 for children.
A post-run celebration will also be hosted by La Fregate café, with profits going towards Cancer Research UK Jersey. Whether you are a runner or a spectator, Islanders are invited to come along in celebration of Justin’s life.
