Seedy Sunday will be holding its annual free community event at Le Rocquier School on 16 February 2020
Seedy Sunday Jersey is an island-wide community event that invites islanders to meet and share ideas about gardening, wildlife and our natural environment and learn how to become wild volunteers and get involved with wildlife monitoring projects.
Now in its fifth year and the only one of its kind in the Channel Islands, the event brings together; gardeners, seed savers, farmers, herb and wildflower enthusiasts, local organisations and community groups, campaigning for natural living, environmental issues and biodiversity.
At the heart of this event is the seed swap where gardeners bring along their saved seeds and swap them for others. In addition to this, you’ll find a real buzz at the market place with over 30 stalls and talks available, along with delicious grub, entertainment and the ever-popular Kiddies Korner
Join us on the 16th February and meet groups and individuals involved in gardening, nature, greener living, and find out how you can protect Jersey’s wildlife.
Seedy Sunday 2020 is been funded by the Ecology Fund and supported by Wild About Jersey All funds raised on the day will support the residential home, Maison St Brelade in creating a sensory outdoor space for their residents.
