21 promotions and new business boost at Hawksford

Friday 02 March 2018

Hawksford Jersey, part of the Hawksford Group, have made 21 promotions in 2017 with an 18% year-on-year increase in new business revenue.

The promotions were across Corporate Services, Private Client, Fund administration and the business support teams and represented the largest round of promotions in five years.

Michel van Leeuwen, Chief Executive Officer of Hawksford, who joined the company in November 2016, said: "2017 was a pivotal year for Hawksford, it signalled the start of an ambitious new chapter. The leadership has been focused on delivering successful business performance and the result is evident in the new business figures across each of our core business lines, particularly corporate services.

“The development of talented employees sits at the heart of Hawksford’s people strategy. We are only able to deliver positive business results through the hard work and dedication of the entire Hawksford team, so it is particularly gratifying to recognise and reward those who made a strong and noticeable contribution to the company. The promotions demonstrate the great quality and depth we have within the business."

Mr van Leeuwen added: “We are focused on building on the success of 2017. Continued investment in our staff and recruiting even more talent into the business will be key to this. We are also looking forward to welcoming a new crop of bright and motivated trainees to our specially developed trainee programme."
