Farah Ballands, partner and the Global Head of Fiduciary and Administration Services at Appleby, one of the world’s largest providers of offshore legal, fiduciary and administration services has been included in the shortlist for the Citywealth Power Women Awards 2015.
The awards recognise individuals and companies who maximise the potential of women in wealth. They focus on influencers as well as professionals, and celebrate powerful women from diverse backgrounds.
The awards aim to recognise women of achievement who are opinion formers, promoting business excellence in their own jurisdictions and consolidating the reputation of the global international financial services sector.
Karen Jones, Editor at Citywealth and founder of the Power Women Awards contest said: “The judges have been impressed with the entries which demonstrated financial competence and understanding of business growth for the businesses these individuals work for.” Farah Ballands said: “I am very pleased to be shortlisted for the award, but I believe that it really reflects and recognises our strength in depth and the quality of our team at Appleby.” The winners will be announced at the awards dinner in London on the 22 January 2015.
