Wednesday 24 August 2022

The owner and Managing Director of The Atlantic Hotel and Ocean Restaurant has been shortlisted for the award of Independent Hotelier 2022 at the Independent Hotel Show Awards.

The annual awards, now in their 10th year, aim to shine a light on industry professionals who are passionate about innovation, guest experience and driving meaningful change in the sector.

The Independent Hotelier award is decided through a combination of public industry vote and marking from the esteemed panel of judges.

This year, the organisers received over 50 entries from independent hoteliers with six selected for the shortlist.

Patrick Burke has been shorlisted alongside Charlie Luxton and Dan Brod, Co-Owners of The Beckford Group; Harry Cragoe, Owner of The Gallivant; Helen Heraty, Proprietor of Grays Court Hotel; Janine Marshall, General Manager of One Aldwych and Stuart Procter, Chief Operating Officer of The Stafford Collection.

"I’m extremely proud of our status as a family run small luxury hotel that has been operating for over 50 years and I consider it a great honour to be shortlisted for this prestigious award," Mr Burke said.
