Carey Olsen has been named Offshore Law Firm of the Year at the prestigious Chambers Europe Awards 2022.

The awards gala was held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Madrid, Spain.

It recognised the international law firms' pre-eminence and achievements over the last 12 months.

The winners were selected across 30 categories following an in-depth analysis conducted by over 200 experienced researchers.

The rigorous selection process included interviewing referees and clients from every shortlisted firm.

Winners were credited for their outstanding work, notable achievements, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service.

Carey Olsen group managing partner Alex Ohlsson said: "We are truly honoured to have won the coveted Offshore Law Firm of the Year award and for Carey Olsen's expertise and growth over the past 12 months to be recognised at one of the industry's most prestigious award ceremonies.

"This recognition is a clear indication of the strength of our global teams. I am grateful to each and every one of my colleagues who have contributed to this win; these awards celebrate the best in achievement, ability and performance and I am excited to see what is next for Carey Olsen."
