Several Jersey professionals under 35 have been named among the 35 top private client practitioners in the Channel Islands.

Newly established by ePrivate client, the Channel Islands 'Top 35 Under 35' list aims to recognise and celebrate lawyers, accountants, trustees or other professional intermediaries of the private client advisory profession.

Sarah Farrow, a Senior Associate in Carey Olsen's trusts and private wealth practice in Jersey, and Robert Quinn, an Associate in the trusts and private wealth group in Guernsey were among the 35 named by eprivateclient.

Siobhan Riley, Partner and Head of the trusts and private wealth group in Jersey, said: "Sarah is an outstanding lawyer with a fast-growing reputation in the market. This recognition is an acknowledgement of her dedication to clients and commitment to Carey Olsen's trusts and private wealth team as a whole; she should be justly proud of her achievement."

Craig Farrell, Manager for Private Client at Sanne also earned a spot at the top. Phil Le Vesconte, Senior Director, Private Client at SANNE, said: "It’s fantastic that Craig has been recognised as one of the up-coming practitioners in the UK. It is a credit to his hard work and dedication achieving this accolade within the short space of time that he has been at SANNE. We always aim to attract the best people and Craig is a testament to this. We are looking forward to supporting him as he progresses in his career.’"

Advocate Nicholas Le Quesne, Partner of specialist family law firm, Corbett Le Quesne, also appears on the list. Advocate Barbara Corbett, who set up the firm with Advocate Le Quesne, commented: “We are very pleased that Nick’s achievements have been recognised by eprivateclient. As a specialist family lawyer Nick has shown through the quality of his work and service to his clients that this recognition is well deserved. In addition, becoming a named partner of a new and thriving firm shows his business acumen and ability to create something special while still young.”

James Angus, an advocate specialising in trusts disputes in Ogier's Jersey Dispute Resolution team, and Alice Bricogne, a Barrister specialising in contentious and non-contentious matters in the firm's Guernsey trusts team, were also included in the list.

Sally Edwards, Trusts Partner, commented: "We are all very pleased at the recognition for James and Alice, who are key members of our Jersey and Guernsey teams.

"We have an excellent team of talented and dedicated practitioners spanning both the contentious and non-contentious aspects of private client and trusts work, and James and Alice continue to develop very strong reputations, with feedback for both highlighting their excellent approach to client service."
