Duff and Phelps becomes Kroll

Thursday 07 October 2021

Duff and Phelps is set to unify with Kroll, an independent advisory specialised in services and digital products related to governance, risk and transparency, which it acquired in 2018.

The name change will not affect services and Kroll will remain in its Esplanade-based offices.

"For our clients in the Channel Islands, it continues to be business as usual from our specialist team in the Jersey office, where our focus had been on regulatory enforcement and supervisory reviews, compliance arrangements, AML controls, risk management and other governance related matters," Ed Shorrock (pictured top), Director of Financial Services Compliance and Regulation, Kroll in the Channel Islands, explained.

"More widely, the brand transition to Kroll also emphasises the depth and breadth of our service offering through the global organisation. As a group, we offer both the sharp analytical skills, paired with the latest technology, to give clients clarity in all areas of business.

"The move gives us a clear, confident and forward-looking outlook, while we continue to retain the high levels of expertise and quality client service on which the business has been built across the Channel Islands. While conditions and markets change, as stewards of good governance, we are committed to providing clients with the clarity they need to ensure compliance, reduce risk, overcome emerging challenges and enhance value."
