Four members of staff from Bracken Rothwell and the Fairway Group have completed study programmes to attain professional qualifications.

Formerly HLB Jackson Fox Limited, Bracken Rothwell provides a full range of accounting, audit and tax services to both the finance industry and Island businesses. The Fairway Group is an independent, owner-managed business with the following subsidiaries: Fairway Trust, Fairway Pension and Fairway Fund Services.

Senior accountant at bracken Rothwell Amanda Gray passed her final Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) paper P6 advanced tax to complete the ACCA professional qualification.  ACCA is the global body for professional accountants and currently has 170,000 members and 436,000 students in 180 countries.

The Managing Director, Alistair Rothwell, said: “Having Amanda qualify with Bracken Rothwell is fantastic for our firm and demonstrates our commitment to staff training and development.  We are both proud and privileged to have Amanda as a member of our team and look forward to our continued success together."

In addition, three staff from the Fairway Group, completed and passed papers from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries Administrators (ICSA) and Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Diploma:

  • Sara Pereira, a trust officer in the private client department passed papers in portfolio management and financial reporting and governance’ exams.
  • Senior trust officer Emma Furzer passed her ICSA Diploma paper in portfolio management.
  • Trust officer Chris Mourant passed his STEP Diploma paper in company law and creation with a distinction.
