Grant Thornton awarded wellbeing accreditation

Monday 22 February 2021

Grant Thornton has become the first firm in the Channel Islands to be accredited by Investors in People with a prestigious silver wellbeing award.

The firm was measured against a framework assessing how well the firm is supporting its people’s social, physical and psychological health at work. At the end of the process, Investors in People awarded Grant Thornton a silver accreditation, which is valid for three years.

“The past 12 months have demonstrated just how important having a resilient, happy and healthy workforce really is. Our staff recruitment and retention indicators are excellent and our diverse and fully inclusive culture supports our team members through the good and bad times,” Managing Director Adam Budworth said.

“This accreditation process has reaffirmed the good we are already doing and identifies areas where we could be stronger, which is all part of our drive to continually improve. Being the first firm in the Channel Islands to be awarded the accreditation is an achievement in itself and I would hope other businesses follow.”
