Hotel La Place voted 6th best hotel In UK by TripAdvisor

The Hotel La Place in St Brelade has achieved the highest ranking for any Channel Islands hotel in the annual TripAdvisor’s 2017 Traveller's Choice Awards. The hotel has ranked 6th place in the Top 25 Hotels in the United Kingdom.

TripAdvisor, the travel planning and booking website, has been running its Travellers’ Choice Awards for 15 years. Winners are determined based on the millions of reviews and opinions collected in a single year from TripAdvisor travellers worldwide.

Additionally, La Haule Manor, which is part of the same hotel group has achieved high rankings in the United Kingdom hotel categories. It has been awarded 3^rd place in the Top Luxury category, 9^th place for Best Service category and 12th place in the Top Small Hotels category. Again, these awards are the highest achieved by any Channel Islands hotel.

Commenting on the results, the Group General Manager Tim Brooke, said, “We work very hard to provide the best possible standards and service for our guests and we are delighted that our efforts have been recognised by TripAdvisor. Last year La Place achieved 7^th place, so to move up the rankings is especially pleasing for us.”

“Our investment in our properties and Jersey’s tourism industry is continuing” said Mr Brooke, “We are currently building 6 luxury suites at La Place that will be finished to the highest specifications from fittings, furnishings and professional interior design."

The investment of £1.3million is due for completion in early 2018.
