Jersey’s reputation as a leading centre for private wealth management has been highlighted for the sixth time, after it was named 'International Financial Centre of the Year.'
The accolade came in the annual Citywealth IFC Awards.
Jersey has won the title six times in a row, and led the way ahead of other shortlisted jurisdictions such as the Cayman Islands, the Isle of Man, Singapore, and Guernsey.
Geoff Cook, CEO of Jersey Finance, commented: “It is very positive news to see that Jersey has been recognised a leading IFC yet again. It is clear that by working with key stakeholders and experts in the finance industry, and maintaining positive international relations, we have been able to adapt and evolve to fit the ever-changing
private wealth landscape.
"We will continue to provide a world-class service as Jersey looks to the future, and I would like to thank the judging panel and our business-partners for ensuring our
work is recognised as such.”
The Awards were established seven years ago to highlight the expertise and service excellence of advisors and managers in the private wealth sector in major IFCs. They are judged by an international panel of practitioners from all sectors, with winners being selected based on their excellence, achievement, innovation, expertise and service.
