Jersey Water is to buy De La Haye Plant Limited, a haulage and water tankering business.
De La Haye Plant Limited is a local company operating a fleet of tankers to deliver water to private and commercial customers around the Island.
The company says that the acquisition, which is subject to approval from the Channel Islands Competition and Regulatory Authorities (CICRA), will further Jersey Water’s strategy to grow and develop its business.
Helier Smith, Jersey Water’s Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted to have reached agreement to purchase the company. De La Haye Plant provides a perfect fit with our business and over the years has developed an excellent reputation by focusing on meeting the needs of its customers. We will continue in that tradition and ensure that De La Haye Plant goes from strength to strength.”
