Software developed by JTC has been nominated in the Best Use of RegTech category at the Banking Tech Awards.

RegTech is the management of regulatory processes within the financial industry through technology.

JTC Insider, which is powered by, is a piece of RegTech designed to simplify the entire process for Market Abuse Regulations (MAR), a Europe-wide set of rules designed to combat insider trading that can place significant strain on resources for fund managers.

The firm's tool unites all MAR reporting in a single place and automates certain more complex processes, while also providing secure storage and instant digital signatures.

Now in their 22nd year, the Banking Tech Awards, which will take place in London on 24 November and are organised by online publishing platform Fintech Futures, recognise excellence and innovation in the use of IT in financial services worldwide, and the people who make it happen.

Adam Jeffries, Group Chief Information Officer, said: “We’re delighted that Fintech Futures has recognised the power of JTC Insider to remove the burden that has been placed on managers with the introduction of MAR.

“We have a strong track record of working with leading developers and innovative start-ups to meet the needs of our clients and this is yet another example.”
