Santander has appointed team leaders to manage its new Work Café in Jersey's town centre.
Based at 13-15 Charing Cross, St. Helier, the premises will host a café, meeting rooms and co-working spaces, while also offering bank services to Santander customers.
John Burns, who has 10 years’ experience with Santander, most recently as Relationship Manager, will lead the team as Director.
Joining after a 20-year career in dental nursing, hygiene and practice coordination, Katie Park will be the café’s Manager.
Local café chain Cargo has been appointed to run the barista area.

“Opening a new Work Café during a pandemic clearly brings some challenges, however, we have been able to factor the new environment in from an early stage and make hygiene an even more important element of operations,” Ms Park commented.
James Pountney, CEO, Santander International, added: “The Santander Work Café offers exciting career development opportunities for team members and we are delighted to see John grow his career with Santander International, and to welcome Katie. Our new team brings a vast amount of experience from different parts of the business, and from different sectors to their roles. This is important in helping us make the Work Café a safe and accessible space for all the community.”
