LGL has appointed its first ever Chief Information Officer and Chief Commercial Officer.

Peter Messervy-Gross will be responsible for the development of the firm's technology strategy, while Zena Couppey will be looking after its global client services and delivering the company's growth strategy.

CEO John Pirouet said he was "delighted" to welcome the pair.

Describing Mr Messervy-Gross as a "strategic hire", he added: "Peter’s experience and forward-thinking approach fits perfectly with our Group culture and I very much look forward to working with him.”

Mr Messervy-Gross said: “I’m absolutely over the moon to be joining the team at LGL. They have an enviable staff culture and a first-class leadership team so I’m really looking forward to being part of the group as they move forward and grow.

"The opportunity for businesses to leverage off modern technology is huge and the management team is committed to building a first-class platform to support the business in its evolution.”

Commenting on Ms Couppey's appointment, Mr Pirouet added: “Zena has a huge amount of international experience in the industry so I am delighted we have the opportunity to appoint her in this key role.

"As a Group, this appointment will prove invaluable in taking us to the next level, to assist us in delivering on our strategy for organic growth and to continue the momentum we have seen in the last 12 months."

Ms Couppey said she was "excited to be joining LGL at such a pivotal point in its evolution and growth", adding: "I look forward to being part of such a fantastic team."
