LGL Group to acquire Luxembourg company

Thursday 01 August 2019

Jersey-based corporate services firm LGL Group has entered into an agreement to acquire a company with which it has been working since 2015.

The firm believes the transaction involving Totalserve Management (Luxembourg) S.A. (TML) will help strengthen its existing presence in Luxembourg.

After a short transitional period, the Luxembourg operations of LGL and TML are intended to merge under the ‘LGL Group’ brand. TML’s current owners will be joining LGL to lead the merged business and the combined workforce in the jurisdiction.

John Pirouet (pictured), LGL Group CEO, commented: "The merger of TML into our existing Luxembourg operations is a significant development for us. The acquisition will add further quality and scale to our existing business whilst also deepening our service offering in Luxembourg."

Christian Tailleur, Managing Director of TML, added: "We are delighted with the team-up with the LGL Group, which we see as in the interest of both LGL and TML. Two solid businesses in the corporate services arena now become complementary to each other to make an even stronger combination going forward.”
