Local professionals named among ‘Most Influential’

Tuesday 16 February 2021

A number of local professionals have been named in eprivateclient’s ‘50 Most Influential’ list, which distinguishes the most influential professionals in the private client industry.

The list is based on the achievements of candidates in the previous 12 months, with the 50 individuals listed highlighting,“...the depth of talent and breadth of skilled and professional advice available to clients across the world from UK and offshore private client professionals."

Stuart Platt-Ransom, CEO of Oak Group, features in the list for the second year in a row.

“It is a great honour to be recognised and named once again by eprivateclient on such a prestigious list,” he said. “I wish to acknowledge the entire Oak team for their contribution to this award which is indeed a reflection of all their hard work and commitment to professionalism in establishing the Oak Group as an offshore financial powerhouse.”

Butterfield Group Head of Trust, Jane Pearce, Ogier's Global Head of Private Wealth James Campbell, and JTC's Head of Private Client Services Iain Johns have also been recognised.

Michael Neff, Butterfield Group’s Head of International Wealth, commented: “Since joining us last year, Jane has provided strong leadership to our international team of Trust professionals, and had a positive impact on our business.  It’s a testament to her hard work and dedication that she’s been named among the ‘Most Influential.’ We congratulate Jane on her well-deserved inclusion.”

"I'm pleased to have been recognised by such a prestigious publication and to be placed among peers who are performing at the top of the private wealth industry,” Mr Campbell said.

“All individual accolades have a team effort behind them – the reason why I am able to do what I do is because of the strength and skill of the team I work with. I'd like to thank them for their essential role in our success as a market-leading service line."

“As a team our focus is on providing top tier client service, at a time when expert advice and knowledge is absolutely critical to the families and individuals as they navigate a hugely complex environment,” Mr Johns added.

“Being included in this list for the past six consecutive years is clearly fantastic news for me on a personal level, but it’s also testament to the high standards we consistently hold ourselves to as a team.”

Crestbridge equally had cause to celebrate, with its Group Head Heather Tibbo featuring for the third consecutive year.
