Breedon Group, a construction materials group in Great Britain and Ireland, changed its tax domicile from Jersey to the United Kingdom this month.
The Company will remain incorporated in Jersey with its registered office remaining on the Esplanade in St. Helier.
Announcing the move in a a circular the Board said it believed the Group gained "little benefit from being tax domiciled in Jersey," adding that bringing the Company's tax residency onshore "should be more efficient and beneficial from a management perspective."
One of Breedon's Non-Executive Directors, David Williams, was born in Jersey.
