Three Ogier trainees have joined the firm as Associates after graduating from its English Solicitor training programme.

Jamie Colquhoun, Matthew Davies and Charlotte Ward have completed the two-year programme, which is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and sees trainees take on up to four "seats" in different legal teams.

The training also include a Professional Skills Course and an experiential litigation course, with a mock trial at the Magistrate's Court.

Jamie Colquhoun and Matthew Davies have joined the Banking and Finance, and Dispute Resolution teams respectively in the firm's Jersey office. Charlotte Ward has joined Guernsey's Dispute Resolution team.

Partner Simon Dinning, who leads the training scheme, said: "We are delighted to celebrate Jamie, Matthew and Charlotte's success and welcome them to their new roles as associates.

"Qualifying as a Solicitor is a landmark in anyone's legal career and our investment in supporting trainees through a dedicated development programme equivalent to those run by City firms is something that we take significant pride in."
