Experienced banking & finance lawyer Helen Munro has joined Walkers' Jersey office as a Senior Counsel.
Ms Munro is a specialist in Islamic finance and asset finance matters, and has spent the previous 11 years in the Abu Dhabi office of international law firm Dentons.
Her arrival has further strengthened the team at Walkers lead by partners Nigel Weston and Alexandra Corner, and group partners Jon Le Rossignol and Tristan Maultby.
Before moving to Abu Dhabi, Ms Munro trained and qualified in London and worked as an analyst and consultant in the energy sector before becoming a lawyer.
Nigel Weston said: "We are delighted to welcome Helen to our expanding practice – her experience and skill in matters relating to Islamic financing and asset financing matters complements our existing offering.
"Helen is the fourth new arrival in the last six months as we continue to expand the team in response to increased client demand, and we look forwards to making more announcements about recruitment in the coming months."
