Collas Crill lawyer sworn in as Jersey Advocate

Thursday 12 December 2019

A Professional Support Lawyer at Collas Crill has been sworn in as a Jersey Advocate in the Royal Court.

Advocate Michael Evans was one of five to be recognised this month, after completing the exams in June.

He qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales (currently non-practising) in March 2005, and in Ireland as a solicitor in the summer of 2014.

He joined Collas Crill in September as a PSL within the Knowledge Management team.

"Since joining us three months ago, Michael has made a real impact within the team and indeed the rest of the firm," Kate Stanfield, Director of Knowledge Management, said.

"He has already been instrumental in bringing value to our knowledge assets, updates and knowledge sharing across our jurisdictions. I look forward to developing differentiating Knowledge Management capabilities further with Michael in the next 12 months.

"It was a pleasure to be there to watch him be sworn in as a Jersey Advocate."
