LV Care Group has appointed a new Manager to the care home formerly run by the Little Sisters of the Poor.
Kathy Murphy, a Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered manager, was previously a Manager at LV Care Group’s Lavender Villa, a position she held for nine years.
She will now be taking on the top job at St. Joseph's, which was formerly known as the Jeanne Jugan Residence.
LV Care Group officially took over as operators of the residential home in December last year, and is now looking to refurbish it.
"You can feel the love, warmth and homely atmosphere on walking into St Joseph’s. We have a wonderful team of staff and lovely residents who deserve the highest standards of care,” Mrs Murphy said.
“Although we are about to embark on a refurbishment programme, we will do so slowly and thoroughly, being sympathetic to both residents and staff alike.”
