New partnership makes FinTech push

Friday 04 December 2020

Three agencies have teamed up to promote Jersey as an ideal location for FinTech firms to establish themselves.

Digital Jersey, Jersey Finance and Locate Jersey have come together under the banner of ‘Jersey For FinTech’ with their own website.

Launched last month at a virtual start-up showcase, the initiative not only aims to attract new business but promote existing ones off-island.

Digital Jersey CEO Tony Moretta said the island was, “...ideally placed to be a one-stop-shop testbed for new technologies, given its connectivity, government support and on-island digital academy."

Richard Corrigan, the Government’s Group Director of Financial Services and the Digital Economy, said the new partnership aimed to show, “...Jersey is open for FinTech business with a breadth of expertise to support different needs.”
