Advocate Christopher Austin from Le Gallais and Luce has been appointed as Clerk to the Commissioners of Tax.

The Clerk is there for taxpayers who want to appeal a decision made by the Comptroller of taxes.

The Clerk arranges and attends a meeting between the Taxpayer and the Commissioners of Appeal who hear their case, and is then responsible for notifying the Appellant of the outcome of their appeal.

“I am privileged to take the baton to fulfil this public duty. Le Gallais & Luce are committed to serving the community and I am proud to continue the tradition of performing this role.”
