Partner promotions at KPMG

Wednesday 06 October 2021

KPMG has promoted Brian Bethell and Ben Honeywood to Audit Partner and Paul Eastwood to Tax Partner.

The promotions follow the merger of the Channel Islands and Isle of Man businesses to form a single practice earlier in 2021.

Brian Bethell has worked in the Jersey office for over 13 years and is a lead in the firm’s real estate sector team, providing audit and professional services to the financial services sector.

Ben Honeywood has over 17 years of experience working in the Big 4 and has been with KPMG since 2006.

Paul Eastwood has been advising on tax matters since 1998 in a mixture of roles, ranging from Deputy Controller of Taxes for Jersey, with responsibility for domestic tax policy and international tax matters, to being Jersey's representative at both the OECD's Forum on Harmful Tax Practice and the Inclusive Framework.

As Tax Partner, he will assume responsibility for the local tax practice and will work with the existing team to expand the range of tax services at the Crown Dependencies firm, where the tax practice is led by John Riva.

Neale Jehan, Senior Partner at KPMG in the Crown Dependencies, said: “I’d like to personally congratulate Brian, Ben and Paul on their promotions. It is a pleasure to announce promotions within our leadership team and to recognise the hard work and diligence of colleagues who are committed to delivering quality and supporting the firm to grow.”
