Eleanor Colley, Associate at Pinel Advocates, has been sworn in by the Royal court as an Ecrivain.
An Ecrivain is a Jersey solicitor and candidates have to pass their Jersey legal exams before being sworn in.
Advocate Andrew Pinel said: "This is a wonderful day for Elie and we hope that she and her family enjoy it all. She has worked tremendously hard. Whilst I wasn't at all surprised, for her to fly through the exams with apparent ease at the first attempt is a great achievement."
