Series of promotions at KPMG

KPMG has made five managerial promotions in its Jersey office.

Tomás Teixeira Machado (Tax Manager), Graham Hickey (Senior Audit Manager), Hannah Layer (Audit Manager and KGS Lead Manager in Jersey), Abbie Hirst (Audit Manager) and Ruben Caldeira (Audit Assistant Manager) have all been promoted.

A further five promotions were also made in the firm's Guernsey office.

Jason Laity, Senior Partner of KPMG in the Channel Islands, commented: "These promotions are, of course, a reflection of the excellent performance of all of the individuals concerned and they also reflect our continued confidence in the economies of both Islands.

"Promoting mid-year demonstrates that we're making great progress towards improving the regularity and quality of career development discussions so giving our people the opportunity to work towards their goals with their own career ambitions in mind.
