Smith and Williamson has appointed a new Director and MD.
Matt Falla joins from Kleinwort Hambros where he spent nearly 15 years, most recently as Head of Private Banking in Guernsey, overseeing 26 staff and £2 billion AUM. He has also previously held roles at HSBC and RBSI in Jersey.
His new role will see him based in Jersey, replacing Aidan McAvinue who moves to become a Non-executive Director of Smith and Williamson International.
Chris Kenny, SWI Director and Partner at Smith & Williamson Investment Management LLP, said: "We are delighted to welcome Matt to Smith and Williamson International. Following the recent Group merger with Tilney and recruitment of an international sales team, we are excited about the opportunities we see as a provider of wealth management services to the offshore market.
"Matt's considerable experience and first-class reputation will help ensure that we can support this growth from Jersey, our chosen international hub."
