Zena Whiteley has joined as a client administration manager within the investment management team in the Jersey office of Smith & Williamson International.
Ms Whiteley has over 29 years experience in the banking and wealth management industry working for Barclays, 14 years in the UK and 15 in Jersey.
She will be responsible for co-ordinating resources to ensure all clients receive a consistent, dependable service. She is a holder of an Investment Management Certificate and is Vice President of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments, Jersey branch committee.
"I am delighted to join Smith & Williamson and I look forward to this next stage in my career. Smith & Williamson is an organisation that consistently puts the client first and so the opportunity to work in such an environment really appeals to me," said Ms Whiteley.
Her arrival follows the establishment of Smith & Williamson International Limited earlier this year. Local wealth industry professionals, Aidan McAvinue, Simon O'Donoghue and Christopher Golding, were appointed founding directors of the new regulated investments business.
Mr O’Donoghue said: ”We are thrilled that Zena has chosen to join us. She brings with her a wealth of experience as well as the ability to successfully manage the various relationships, from investment managers to reporting and compliance functions, required for a smooth client experience.”
