Entrepreneurs, digital start-ups and existing digital companies that utilise Digital Jersey’s Hub in Grenville Street are being offered the opportunity to take full advantage of JT’s Cloud services to help expand their current enterprise or to get their new businesses up and running.

Joining Digital Jersey’s member business services programme alongside other local and global Cloud providers, JT is offering fellow members a package of Cloud services at a reduced preferential rate. JT’s carrier grade Cloud solution package offers comprehensive up to the minute, secure, reliable and scalable services, underpinned by round the clock, on the ground support.

Tim Ringsdore of JT said: 'Enabling start-up businesses to leverage the capabilities of the Cloud helps to reduce risk by cutting the usual outlay costs for businesses, especially those who are starting up or trying to expand into new markets without them having to front the significant costs involved in setting up their own IT infrastructure upfront. Our platform also gives clients the ability to be quick to market therefore providing competitive advantage and removing any concerns about technological scalability as they grow.

'Providing this flexible, agile approach can help and encourage innovators to have the confidence to take their idea to the next level, with less risk. In addition, any Digital Jersey Hub occupier taking up the JT offering will also have access to our expertise and on the ground support, not just at the start but throughout the evolution of their business allowing us to grow together, as a partnership.'

JT is a member of Onecloud Alliance and developed its Cloud service in partnership with market-leading global Cloud services provider Dimension Data. The six month Cloud package on offer to Digital Jersey members will provide a rapid turn-on of services, low cost of entry to the Cloud, flexibility to fit with their individual requirements and access to JT’s experts. Furthermore, JT’s Gigabit network is available within the premises and is accessed by free Wi-Fi across the Digital Jersey Hub.

The Digital Jersey Hub offers co-working space located in St Helier, with the space and tools that independent start-up businesses require. It offers a mix of shared and reserved desks as well as meeting rooms, office facilities and collaborative space to encourage co-working.
