TTS looking for new caterer for Town Park

Thursday 16 January 2014

The Transport and Technical Services department is looking for someone to run a kiosk in the Millennium Town Park.

Since opening in 2011, the Town Park has become a very well used facility. As well as people enjoying the park facilities, particularly the playground, there are also a lot of people who use it as a pleasant route into town.

TTS is currently seeking expressions of interest from anyone wishing to establish a year round catering business to service the users of the Park.  The caterer will be expected to provide their own kiosk and will be able to connect into the installed water, drainage and electricity services.

Deputy Kevin Lewis, Minister for Transport and Technical Services said: “I think this catering concession has great potential for someone willing to match the needs of the Town Park clientele. We want this facility to enhance the community feel of the park.”
