Fiduciary and administration company VG has welcomed 26 new employees this year, including three trainees, as it focuses on growth.
New members of staff have joined the firm across all areas of the business since January, which the company says shows their commitment to supporting young local talent as well as more senior positions.
Emma Stewart, VG Head of Human Resources, said that the company is committed to supporting the growth of the local financial services sector, and that they found the most effective way to do this is by searching out emerging talent.
"We are working closely with education establishments and those already in employment on the island to demonstrate why VG is a great place to either start your career or take it to the next level and this ethos is paying dividends for our business," Ms Stewart explained.
"We believe that the employer/employee relationship is very much a partnership and encourage all our employees to get as involved in all areas of the business as possible, from client and non-client facing work to CSR and sports and social initiatives.
"We recently introduced a new company value of ‘Positivity’ and these new joiners are the embodiment of that. This makes us excited about the future of the firm moving forward into the new year.”
