St Brelade Parish Assembly



An Assembly of the Principals and Electors of the Parish of St Brélade will be held at the Parish Hall, St Aubin, St Brélade on Wednesday 23 September 2020 at 7pm to consider and vote on the propositions below in the requête served on the Connétable and Procureurs du Bien Public on 9 September 2020: 

  1. To instruct the Connetable and Procureurs du Bien Public to renew the permit issued by the Parish of St Brelade under the Road Traffic (Parking Places) (Jersey) Order 2006 Article 2(3)
    "To park a trailer for the serving of food at LA PULENTE CAR PARK NEAR TOP OF SLIP (STB8) to Karl Sutton and to open the 'HIDEOUT' mobile kiosk.
    The permit to be renewed under the original terms and conditions as issued on the 1st October 2017.
  2. To instruct the Connetable and the Procureurs du Bien Public that should for any reason the 'Hideout' mobile kiosk be required to move from its current approved location to enable any works connected with the development of the toilet block adjacent to the 'Hideout' that a nearby alternative site on parish land at La Pulente is provided subject to any necessary permissions and that access to all necessary services such as electric and water are also granted to Karl Sutton.
  3. To instruct the Connetable and Procureurs du Bien Public not to enter into any formal or informal lease, contract or permit with any third party for parish owned land situated at La Pulente including the slip road and the car parking area before gaining approval for any such lease, contract or permit at a Parish Assembly.


Parishioners who wish to attend this Assembly are requested to notify the Parish Hall as soon as possible, by telephone to 741141. This is so that numbers attending may be estimated.

Should numbers exceed those permitted under current Covid regulations it may be necessary to use another venue for all or some of the participants. Alternatively arrangements are being made for Parishioners to follow the Assembly using the internet. Notice to this effect will be displayed at the Parish Hall and notified to local news media.
