Investment Manager Scott Goodrum at Brooks Macdonald, one of the largest independent investment management companies in the Channel Islands, is the only Channel Islands-based professional to feature in a list profiling ‘new wealth talent’ published on 22 March 2018 by leading wealth management publication Citywire.

Scott Goodrum, based in Jersey, has been named in the ‘Top 30 Under 30: Class of 2018’ list, which is published annually by Citywire and aims to identify rising stars around the UK private client investment management industry. It is the third consecutive year Brooks Macdonald’s Channel Islands team has featured in the prestigious list.

In qualifying for the Top 30 list, now in its seventh year, Scott was assessed on a combination of academic success, professional qualifications, and his responsibilities at and contribution to Brooks Macdonald.  He fended off numerous other nominees from around the UK.

Scott joined Brooks Macdonald in 2015 as a trainee and qualified as an investment manager within a year. He specialises in fixed income and manages single strategy portfolios for a range of private clients and companies. He also has fund research responsibilities, leading the fixed income fund selection for the multi-asset strategies. Scott is currently a member of Brooks Macdonald’s international asset allocation committee, and the fixed interest research team.
