Carey Olsen has promoted seven lawyers, including three in Guernsey, one in London and three in Jersey with effect from 1 July 2014. The law firm, which was recently awarded Offshore Law Firm of the Year at the 2014 Lawyer Awards ceremony, employs over 300 people, including 185 lawyers, across its offices in the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Jersey, Cape Town and London.
Included in the new appointments are Jersey trust and fiduciary lawyer Keith Dixon and Guernsey litigation lawyer Simon Florance who have both been promoted to of counsel.
In the firm's Jersey office additional promotions include corporate finance lawyer Kate McCaffrey who has been promotions to senior associate and wills and probate team member Gill Morgan who has been appointed senior probate administrator.
In Guernsey, former associates litigation lawyer Tim Bamford and property lawyer Jonathan Anderson have been appointed as senior associates.
Former associate Imogen Payne, a corporate and investment funds specialist in the firm's London office, has also been promoted to senior associate level.

Earlier this year, Carey Olsen was awarded One Star Status in the "Best Companies" engagement survey, the workplace engagement survey associated with "The Sunday Times", and was the only offshore law firm to achieve this status.
