Family Nursing & Home Care are excited to announce the comeback of the charity’s annual flagship fundraising event, the Colour Festival, after a brief COVID induced hiatus.
The annual FNHC Colour Festival event involves a 5km run through five colour stations where participants are showered with vibrant (environmentally friendly) coloured powdered paint. The event is open to families, corporate teams and groups of friends and promises a fantastic day of fun and fundraising for all islanders, giving you the chance to get colourful for your community.
All money from the Colour Festival funds our Paediatric Palliative Care Worker (PPCW). This role, which provides respite for families with life limiting and life threatening illnesses, allows children to achieve their goals and have the same experiences as others whenever possible. We embrace the emotional, physical and social aspects of the life of a child with additional needs and do our absolute best to enhance and maximise the quality of life for both the child and their family.
By taking part in the Colour Festival, participants enable the terrific work that FNHC does to support Jersey families through respite and hospital visits, providing continuous charitable and emotional support.
FNHC CEO Rosemarie Finley commented:
“The Family Nursing and Home Care (FNHC) Colour Festival is our flagship fundraising event and an incredible experience for all those who take part. We are thrilled to be able to host the run this year and are hugely thankful to our sponsors Jersey Electricity, Snap, Stonehage Fleming, Steve Philips, Dandara and Appleby for their continued support.
