JCG are delighted to celebrate the achievement of over 80 students who gained their Bronze and Silver DofE Awards. During a recent event the students outlined some of their experiences and Mr Howarth talked about the difference DofE makes to an individual.

‘The Duke of Edinburgh Award is recognised around the world as the gold standard for young people.   For our students, DoE takes them out of their comfort zone and into a place where they really push themselves and have amazing new experiences,’ commented Carl Howarth, JCG Principal. ‘They build confidence, resilience, skills for work and society and strong friendships whilst having a brilliant time taking part.  It is for this reason that Employers and Universities highly prize this on someone's CV.  I am so pleased that so many of our students benefit from it.'
